What is your organizations legal designation?
We are an unincorporated ministry that falls under the legal and financial covering of The Cause Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) in Oregon. Their Federal Tax ID is 06-1670270. Outpour มูลนิธิเพื่อครอบครัว is also a registered A-grade foundation in Thailand.
Who is the Cause?
The Cause is a faith-based nonprofit providing an organizational covering for projects that demonstrate God's love and improve lives around the world. They provide nonprofit structure, spiritual support, and strategic coaching, to Christian leaders who serve the under-served worldwide.

Why are you transitioning to the cause?
Our previous umbrella organization is closing operations after many years of service. The leaders, Michael and Kathy are soon retiring to spend more time with their growing family. We are excited to partner with The Cause Inc. in this upcoming season. They not only meet our need of having important legal and financial protections but we share in their vision to see the world impacted through Christ.
Are my donations still tax deductible?
Yes. All donations directed for Outpour ministries or missionaries given through this website, thecause.org, or by mail are tax deductible through the IRS. Tax receipts will be delivered in accordance with The Cause Inc.’s policies.
Are the fees Changing?
Yes. Previously, each online donation was subject to a fee of 11.28% while gifts by mail were subject to a 8.78% fee payable to our 501(c)(3). The new fee schedule is as follows:
12% - for donations by check or online
An additional 4.4% fee is designated to Outpour administrative costs for donations given to specific projects & missionaries. All fees are taken upon receipt from each donation. You may opt to cover a portion of the fees when giving online.
Are my online donations secure?
Yes. All online donations are processed by our hosting service Kindful through their encrypted online payment portal.
Can I still set up reoccurring giving?
Yes. One-time, monthly, quarterly, and annual giving options will still be available through the new online payment portal.
